Cinema All Saints

Cinema All Saints is our monthly screening of films in the Hawker Centre at All Saints. All are welcome to join us for our screenings,  but an RSVP helps to ensure we have a place for you!

Our April screening is Julie & Julia, a delightful and delicious film from 2009. Starring Meryl Streep and Amy Adams, it tells the story of chef Julia Child (played by Streep) as she discovers the wonders of French cuisine while living in Paris. Adams plays Julie Powell, a New York blogger who sets out to cook her way through Child’s Mastering the Art of French Cooking in a single year.

If you have a favourite film that you would like to tell us about, please email us to make a suggestion. We can’t guarantee to screen the film, but we will do our best!

Our first screening took place in November 2024 …

Since then we’ve screened the following films:

– The Muppet Christmas Carol
– Miss Potter
– Red Dog
– Hidden Figures
– Shadowlands
– The Dish
– Singin’ in the Rain
– Roxane
– Jane Goodall: The Hope
– A United Kingdom

All films are screened under a licence from the Big Studio Movie Licence, or individually licenced through their Australian distributor.
