HOLY WEEK AND EASTER SERVICES 2025

The Triduum (Maundy Thursday to the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday) is one of the most significant services in the Christian year. It is a lengthy journey of three days that takes us from the Institution of the Eucharist (in the Last Supper on Maundy Thursday) to the proclamation of Christ’s resurrection from the dead at the Easter Vigil. You are very warmly welcome to join us for these services, and to celebrate the joy of Easter with us at All Saints.

Sunday 13 April – Palm Sunday

– 7.30am – Mass
– 8.45am – Holy Communion with Hymns (Saint Raphael’s Fern Tree)
– 10.30am – Procession of Palms and High Mass with the Choir of All Saints
– 5.00pm – A Reflection in the Passion, with music

Monday 14 April – Monday in Holy Week

– 5.00pm Mass

Tuesday 15 April – Tuesday in Holy Week

– 5.00pm Mass

Wednesday 16 April– Wednesday in Holy Week (Spy Wednesday)

– 10.00am Mass
– 11.00am Lent Study Group (Eagle Centre)
– 5.00pm Tenebrae

Thursday 17 April – Maundy Thursday

– 7.00pm Mass of the Last Supper with the Washing of Feet, Procession of the Blessed Sacrament and Stripping of the Altar, with Choir of All Saints
– 8.30pm Watch in the Garden of Repose

Friday 18 April – Good Friday

– 9.00am Solemn Liturgy with Holy Communion with the Choir of All Saints
– 11.00am Stations of the Cross (beginning at St Francis Xavier RC Church, South Hobart)

Saturday 19 April – Holy Saturday

– 7.00pm The Easter Vigil: Lighting of the New Fire, Paschal Vigil and First High Mass of Easter, with Cantors and Organ

Sunday 20 April – Easter Day

– 7.30am Mass
– 8.45am Holy Communion with Hymns (Saint Raphael’s Fern Tree)
– 10.30am Procession and High Mass with Renewal of Baptismal Vows, with the Choir of All Saints
– 5.00pm Evening Prayer with Easter Hymns
